Hello there everyone.

I have a Wired and Wireless Network. and my kids, are surfing the web. when they are meant to be using there computers for studying/homework. I need to be-able to block certain sites at certain times, so they cant surf the web, and still be-able to google search(research) if needed.

**Some Key Features im looking for in a Freeware program..**

1) Block websites anonymously (No Messages saying This site has been blocked by such and such.) Like my router does when i use that.. Would be nice if it just came up as "Page Cannot Be Displayed" or something like that. To ALL Comps on the network..

2) To beable to Block Certain Websites at Certain times. Example.. 1am no access to a certain website till 7am (something like that) Like a Surf Filter.

3) A Freeware Program that Does not need to be installed on ALL pc's in the household/network.

Like a Freeware program called Netcut, (Works well to completely disconnect networked pc's from the net, without having to install it on every pc, just my own.)

~I am after a Freeware program that works well!~

I Look forward to hearing from you's!!

Does not exist. Netcut is a joke I can get around that in 2 seconds. By design one PC cannot block another PC traffic. If it could could you imagine the chaos that would occur on the internet. You can only do some minimal denial of service attacks.

The way your router is doing it is pretty much the only solution you just have to get a different device that does not give the message you do not like. You can always load a linux based firewall on a machine and place it in the path. There are many free linux distributions that have everything already installed.
