Yamaha has stopped making CD-RW's. And currently only Yamaha CRW-F1 supports DiscT@2 and Audio Master. Will Yamaha sell these technologies to other CD-RW manufacturers or these technologies will die with Yamaha?

good question I think they will certainly try to sell the technology I mean it makes economic sense question is will they price it so that it is saleable

They could decide not to sell and try to license the technology to whoever wants in. That could work better because then there won't be only one CDRW with the options, and gives Yamaha the potential to make more money.

They could do that, but I think it will only happen if Yamaha licences or sells the technology and it takes off. The CRW-F1 really hasn't been out long enough for Disc T@2 to bend the market, so I'm not sure anyone will try to follow. I do hope someone at least picks up the Audio Master though. It's at least more usefull/less gimicky.
