I saw from Maxtor official site states that DiamondMax Plus 9 has a SATA interface, so does this means that this is a SATA HDD? But what I saw is that it is actually a normal PATA HDD, anyone know what this "SATA interface" actually means?

Plug & Play? How about Plug & Pray!

If you look further in the datasheet of Maxtor site, the DiamondMax Plus 9 actually comes with 3 "flavors", namely ATA/133 interface 2MB buffer for 6YxxxL0 models, ATA/133 8MB for 6YxxxP0 and SATA/150 8MB for 6YxxxM0.

So, if I buy the SATA version of Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 and connect to A7N8X SATA interface, will there any problem? I know this question sounds silly but now no one ever use a SATA HDD in real world and who knows?

My PC has gone to hell... because it's a killing machine...
