since i heard the news i had to think twice about purchaing the yamaha F1.... i was going to buy it this week until i heard the sad news F1 is a excellent burner but i am wondering is yamaha worth buying now??? will there be still new firmware surpport???? it's real sad such a great burning company goes down the drain (stupid Bin Laden crashing our economy)
I hope so, because I'm running out to buy 3 or 4 this weekend. I really love these drives, and I need at least one more for the audio workstation, which works great. Thankfully NERO supports two burners without a plugin. I'll probably stockpile the others for PCs that I build for other musicians.
