Ok, so I have a router up stairs and my PC is plugged into that via Ethernet cable, But I want to move my PC downstairs and I cant find a place to route my Ethernet Cable, So am I able to buy another router to put downstairs that I can plug my cable into, without having slower internet.

If you can help me out that would be great, (Really Confused :kaola: )

Thanks

Hi Techguy,

You can use a repeater/range extender with LAN ports to do that or use powerline adapters without running the cable. Is your electrical good in your house though? Powerline adapters are only good in houses that got good electrical and don't have any wonky wiring or constant shorts/surges.

This is a repeater I had and it was awesome:

It has 5 wired LAN ports on it for wired devices as well.

That same company that made that repeater also started to make powerline stuff as well so that's cool.
