I have a desktop computer connected to the internet by DSL and to a Canon MG5220 printer by USB cable. I now have a new laptop computer which is connected to the internet by a family member's WI FI network. Can I connect this printer, wirelessly, to my laptop also while still leaving it connected to the desktop by USB? Thanks!

Your best option would be to connect the printer to the wireless router and make it a network printer so that you can have the desktop and laptop use it. If you connect the printer to a computer by usb cable then that's the connection that it will use and not the wireless.
