Router Suggestions

Hi all, this is my first post here, I usually find my concerns asked and answered on here, but not this time.

So...Basically I'm looking for a router that has:
Under £50 (Student life :sarcastic:)
Dual-Band
Guest networking
Good for streaming HD films between devices on the network
Can manage well with gaming (Xbox) (wired)
Can handle 5+ devices on the network
ADSL i.e. not Cable (Virgin)

Would like, but don't mind:
Gigabit Ethernet
USB port

There'll be a WD 2TB My Book Live attached to the network that I'd be streaming videos/music/documents from. Mainly wanting to stream Videos onto my Xbox, and stream Music to my Laptop.

And I'll have a couple of mates that I'd like to allow them to use the Wi-Fi while they're around, so a guest network would be ideal.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all, and I hope you've had a Merry Christmas! :D

  1. You do realize that the more features that you want the higher the price of the router or you end up getting a lower quality brand tht has all those features.
I would look at the Cisco/Linksys or Netgear first and if there is nothing in your price range then try Asus , Belkin or D-Link.
