I have the Compro Videomate Cinema
<A HREF="http://www.comprousa.com/products/vmcinema.htm" target="_new">http://www.comprousa.com/products/vmcinema.htm</A>

It uses the nVidia IR remote control and the (lime green colored) external AV box.
The DVD software it came with, ComproDVD, is actually PowerDVD reskinned.
The remote works fine with ComproDVD but when I replaced this with the PowerDVD (2 channel OEM version) that came with the DVD drive, now only the Power on/off button of the remote works.
I can open PowerDVD and close it with the remote but nothing else.

I am unable to purchase audio upgrade packs for ComproDVD thus the reason why I changed to PowerDVD.

Anyone know of a fix?

Yes, I think you can fix it. You would have to use some files from the old version on the new one, and/or might have to transfer some code from an old file to a new one.
