2 Hard Drives Need Help With Partition

I don't have a raid card. I have a WD80 Gig Special Edition. I used Disk Management on XP to partition. I have my current hard drive at Fat32 and I want to know if I can put my new hard drive at NTFS format. Will it be compatiable with my current HD. If I do choose to format my new HD in FAT32 format which partition should I use Primary or Extended? When I partition it how much MB size should I partition each one?

Yes, it can be seen by WinXP.
