That all depends on how much time they need to test the product before
it is released.
If no bugs pop up during testing, then it is released rather quickly,
if many bugs appear, then it will be a longer wait until it is
released (if it is released).

Or sometimes released anyway bugs and all( as apparently was the case
with the T608 or A500).

It is impossible to test a product and eliminate 100% of the bugs, and
they only come apparent when the numbers in use jump from a couple
dozen "testing' units to several thousand in a week.

Agreed, but SprintPCS sat on the T608 for 6 months, and then because so
many folks wanted a phone with Blue Tooth, released it anyway; and soon
all the T608 boosters changed their tune.
