WHY my wifi not working properly

I can know WHY my wifi not working properly?
Once the wifi not working but my dad has repair it and it goes well like went i brought it
but few months later, the wifi not working again and my dad repair it and once more also cannot working.
So, my dad would like to know why this happen.
Can you help me with this problem?

How is he "repairing" it?

list your equipment so that it is alot easier the diagnose the problems you might have..

are you sharing the internet connection?, is your dad also using the internet?... is your computer the only one not working?..

is it a cheap/weak wifi router?..., where is it located?... troubleshoot...

if what you mean by "repair the wifi" by fixing the wifi router, you will probably need a need a new router...

but if you mean by "repair the wifi", that he reconnected you, you have access problems, not wifi problems.


if you are receiving the wifi for free, the person supplying it could have changed the password /SSID, to prevent leaching...

the wifi router should be located in a central location, away from metal.

your computer has a "wifi" selection thingy, so that to determine the signal strength...

are you(your father) paying for internet access, or did it appear magically?... (do you have access the the wifi router?...
TL;DR run a lan cable to the wifi router, to see of the internet is working.

with wifi is could be a firmware issue bug with the router. could be that it open and the whole world is logging onto it and it overloading it/over heating it. some routers and downloading large files can cause the router to lock up.
