Good day, I currently work at a company where we have a modem, switch a router and it's set up in a way that the router supplies the IP. the LAN's subnet is 255.255.255.0, IP is 192.168.1.128. router is 192.168.1.1. DNS is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 We have a VPN which connects us to another location. LAN subnet is 255.255.255.0, IP 192.168.1.129 DNS is 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. Where're currently having some dns errors when trying to connect to the workgroup. Also we're experiencing problems where there's an IP conflict AND a from time to time users are getting booted off the wifi. Please Please help me. thank you so much.

WHat kind of routers do you have? Is there one in each location? If they are supplying the IPs then it sounds like they both have DHCP enabled? If so that could cause problems. I am not an expert, but you need to setup an IP scheme for both locations. The routers seperate broadcast domains so each segment should have their own IP scheme like the poster above said. If one side is 192.168.1.0 (subnet 255.255.255.0) then the other segment could be 192.168.2.0 (subnet 255.255.0). I see you listed 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS servers. I know they are google DNS servers. Do you have DNS servers on hand at the company? If so you want DNS requests to go to your DNS server and setup forward requests to google's DNS servers if you chose. I guess more information is needed.
