You're comparing an 8" 2-way nearfield monitor to a 12" 3-way midfield monitor.

The LSR6328P would be suitable for more of the same tasks as the HR824.

Oh, and you should also have a listen to the new Genelec 8040A.

Yes I know it's kind of apples and oranges!
I was curious as to how they compare set up in their optimum positions.
IOW the overall sound when the Mackie is set up nearfield and the JBL mid
field.

Thanks for the tip on the Genelec.
