Selecting a router to configure as a firewall

Hello, I am researching routers for a large emnterprise application, and their useability as firewalls. Also, is their one that is considered to be better over another?

Why are you not researching enterprise level firewalls for an enterprise application? While many routers can do the job, they might not necessarily be the right tool for the job.

A bit more info on what you are trying to do might help. How are you defining "enterprise", would help...

What type(s) of WAN connection are you using?
What type(s) of LAN connection are you using or wanting to use?
How many connections are you looking to support?

Hmmm, smells like a homework question?

I'm just hoping that my IT team would (1) be able to spell enterprise and (2) already understand routers and firewalls beyond the home user.

My latency has gotten better, but my speed isn't as impressive. Latency of 26ms but speeds in the 60s for DL... I like the bigger number
