I am considering buying 2 used Mackie c300 speakers to use as floor
monitors. I have only seen pics of these on the internet, I know they
are trapezoid shaped, but it looks like if they were layin on their
side that the sound would hit you about at the knee. Does anyone know
if you can arrange these so the sound would go more straight up (like
if it was sitting about 2 feet in front of me)? Or is the shape just
not right for using this as a monitor on a small stage?
Thanks for any advice...

I can't state for certain, as I have 6 of the SRM450's, their active
powered counter-part. The 450's came with these plastic feet, that if you
put them into the fly points on the side, I think you can get a little
more angle up from them.
