I live in Seattle and have been experiencing more dropped and distorted call
recently on my Sprint phone, along with more frequent out of service
instances. My phone is due for replacement and I was wondering if perhaps it
might be time to switch carriers as well. How do the other local carriers
compare with Sprint, in terms of coverage and reliability, both in the
Seattle area and in the Pacific Northwest? I'm hoping to do a lot of
travelling in the region this summer and want the widest coverage possible,
but my main priority is in-city coverage in and around Seattle. I'd prefer
to stay with Sprint since I call the east coast a lot and like their 7pm
night option, and having been with them for over 5 years I can probably get
a good retention plan. But if the competition has better coverage,
reliability or service, I'll give them a look. Thanks.

Maybe, maybe and yes, and Cingular now has 7 PM nights available.
You are best served asking those without vested interests in your
decision. Check with your colleagues.
