not killed by pervertic programmers, just by stupid americans with an
dumb look at sexuallity.

I dunno, I think I've kind of lost the capacity to be surprised by
stuff Americans do.

"The Americans" is a very broad term, and possibly a unfair generalisation,
because the individual US states differ greatly from each other. It's as
inaccurate as "The Europeans" would be, as culture and views differ between
West- and East-Europeans, and very often from country to country or even
region to region (Bavarians are nothing like the Germans who inhabitat the
coast). I'm not fond of the current US administration, but I know plenty of
very liberal, open-minded Americans who are just as shocked at these
statistics (source?) as "we Europeans".

I'm fully aware of that; I'm majoring in American Studies (among
others).

This, however, is an exaggeration. Obviously, there are huge
differences between an Alabaman, a Californian, a New Yorker, and a
Texan, but they all primarily speak the same language, and any cultural
divides don't go back any further than 200 years or so. European
cultural divides can go back for millennia, and it shows.

I'm not a fan of America-bashing; I think there's plenty of stuff in
America (and not just at the liberal end of the spectrum) that we'd do
well to emulate. Which makes some of the statistics (number of citizens
imprisoned, percentage of people who don't believe in evolution, etc)
all the more surprising.

There are no pets, or killable animals of any sort, in the GTA games.
There was an article in one of the fake publications or web sites
that referenced this, but I can't be bothered to look it up.

I don't believe the figures. I think the results are skewed towards whatever pollster wanted to
portray (i.e. goes to inner city or poor rural areas for poll). Either that or I always meet the 60%
that did not become pregnant before 20. At my current workplace out of 10-15 people in my group, I
don't know any women, or married men's wives, that had children under 20. But these people are
college educated which most likely takes them out of that at risk pregnant bunch.

Sadly, that's a good point.

Well, I gave the US the benefit of the doubt the first time GW got
elected as he actually got fewer votes than Gore, but this time he was
reelected with an actual majority.

There don't seem to be kids either.
Barring the fact that the various gang types don't exactly have ages
listed on them so it's possible some of them are supposed to be
teenagers, albeit teenagers with guns who will shoot at you on sight.
None of the innocent civilians seem to be under 20.

No, I'm from a nearby country with a smaller population than just
California, but larger land area than the entire U.S.

Oh, cool, I didn't know you even had internet connection down in
Antarctica!
Well, spare a thought for us in the EU: nearly twice the population of
the US but just 1/3 of the area.
