If I remember correctly, the C series cannot support BT.

Right-O. It says this right on Palm's website.

Wouldn't this be:
PalmOne doesn't (want to) support Bluetooth for the TC.
I can't think of any reason why the SDIO-hardware of the TC should be
less capable than that of the much older M515. Is there any?
I can't think of any reason why the OS 5 should be less capable
concerning Bluetooth than the much older OS 4. Is there any?

I'm not Palm INc so please don't shoot the messenger.
Your question should be directed at Palm, I am waiting with eagerness for a
V600 driver for the palm.

Given that people are still waiting for drivers for the older T630 & Z600
Sony Ericssons, I wouldn't hold your breath...

Is it not the case that the T39 driver will work for the Z600?
I can pair my Hama bluetooth to my phone but cannot get Mobile phone tools
to work with the the module :-(

Relax
....I shot the sentence
....but I didn`t shoot the messenger
;-)
IMO adressing Palm directly is useless
as I think they create this intentionally.

No, not the case.

It's not a hardware issue, it's a driver issue. It's always been like this
in the PC and other microcomputer industry, back to software on cassettes
and punched paper tape.
When ACME makes a device for a Palm, it's ACME's responsibility to write
the driver which enables the drive to work. If ACME gets cold feet and
does not write the driver, why blame Palm?

When the OS changes, the driver must change.

Yes, true, this seems to be Palm's position.
A very bad one IMO.
At least if one wants to see SDIO evolving into flexibility.
Maybe I'm spoiled with a CF slot capable of mounting loads of stuff
without any need of special drivers coming from the stuff provider. It's
all in the OS (or in thin air? ;-)
