Dropped internet connection

My internet connection is being dropped multple times a day. I have to run the troubleshooter each time and the connection is restored. How do I figure out if this is some setting in my wireless adapter or if it is the wireless adapter itself?

Do you have any other devices on the wireless network ? If you can plug directly into the router with an Ethernet cable you can rule out the router being the issue and you can then focus on the wireless adapter. You can also change the chanel on the router and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply. It was the wireless card. I replaced it and no problems!
