Dlink DWA 130 Wireless USB Adapter constantly drops connection

Hello,
So I've just bought a D-link DWA-130 USB wireless adapter for my PC (I'm also using a DIR-615). When I try to connect to the router, everything goes well, it says I get a full connection and Google and every thing works great. When I try to use Skype or play games (Team Fortress 2 etc...) it will constantly cut out, I'll get disconnected from servers, my Skype calls will drop, my ping will rocket up to over 900. On Skype it says I have no internet connection or a terrible one, but when I look at the connection on my desktop it says I still have 4 bars. I also have other computers in my house that get a perfect connection so I'm really confused.

Thanks,
