PCS to PCS minutes--are they unlimited on a "add a phone" on a
retention plan, even when out of "home area"?

How about when both phones are out of state?
How about when one phone is in state and the other is out of state?

I saw you have to agree to 2 year contract (at least on new plans) to
get unlimited pcs to pcs. Yuck, Not sure about agreeing to that.

Thanks

I don't know what plan you have but the plan that I have - ANY call between my
Sprint PCS phone and ANY other Sprint PCS phone is free for me - unlimited and
not taken off my minutes. ANYWHERE I am in the USA on the Sprint PCS network.
It doesn't matter where the other person is as long as they are also on the
Sprint PCS network.

First off, you don't mention what retention plan you are on or whether it's
a nationwide plan or an area wide plan. You also didn't where your account
is based (i.e.: where your invoices are sent).

To provide some generalized answers, if one can add a phone to their
account, the PCS2PCS calls should be unlimited, if both phones are on SPCS's
network. (IOW, not roaming).

Again, they have to be on SPCS's network.

Same answer.

So then add the option to your account for $5/mo.

Well maybe I will, I see you get unlim pcs to pcs on 2 year agreement.
At least on new plans that is.

Does this mean I pay $20 for the add a phone and $5 for each account
with only a one year agreement?
That would bring my total to $60 or $70 a month.

I like your plan you mentioned upstream on this newsgroup, 3 phones for
$65/mo. What should I ask for to come closer to your plan? And could
you again mention your details, por favor?

Thanks again

Sure no problem. 1200 AT minutes, PCS2PCS, 7:00 PM N&W, F&CA for 3 phones
and Vision free for two months on 2 phones. That was $60 before taxes and
surcharges. The two months are over, and now my monthly expense is $80
before tax with a Vision picture pac on my phone and my daughter's phone.
Wife's phone is a Sanyo 4700, with no wireless web option on it.

Total bill for me now is $100/mo, which includes the taxes and surcharges.

How much less without vision would that make it?

Just wondering all this stuff to see if its worth it to add a phone for
a NJ and DC trip this summer. Maybe I'll just get a prepaid for a
month or so. Guess I might not be able to add a phone without a
contract. Oh and this is a buisness with 15% disc account plan.

Thanks for the breakdown--I was thinking my 900 min for $40 wasn't that
great comparing to what I thought you were getting for $65 (1200 min
2 add a phones and vision).

Makes me rest calmly now.

How much do you think I'll have to pay for one add a phone now? $20?
And unlim pcs to pcs? $10?

Thanks,
Dave

Considering you are on a retention plan, it probably will.

Not true. 2-year Advantage Agreement to get it for free. It's
$5/month without that agreement.
