Just recently my Cd burner stopped working. Updating the aspi files was a recommendation from a friend of mine. It didn't work so I changed the burner. It keeps coming up with aspi error. I have 98SE, P2450 and Samsung SW240B. So I tried to reinstall winaspi46.dl_ / apix46.vx_ . The aspicheck shows I have it installed and it's working. The software still says I have a aspi error. Any help would be appreciated. Is there something I have to delete before installing new aspi files?
