I have just installed Windows 7 on my new Segate 2 TB HDD. It's running great, but when I went into computer management, I noticed about 114 GB of free space. When I tired to create a partition, Windows reports that there's isn't enough space available to complete this operation. I don't know what's wrong, please help me

System specs:

CPU: PII 955 BE
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB 7200 RPM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Ram: 2x2GB Kingston KVR @1333MHz

114GB of free space on that one partition or 114GB of unallocated space?
I'll assume number2. Yea that doesn't make sense.

Look over your partition information very closely. How big is the primary partition?
If your primary partition is close to 2 TB then the disk is probably already using the maximum amount that it can.
