Looks like GC has a good sale going on, but what's a good price for the
pair?
What's a *good* price for a pair in general?
I'm looking at replacing a set of KRKs

So which monitors in the Mackie price range
($1500 for the pair) did you like?

I bought a pair a Event ASP8s, and they are great. Retail $1500/pr and
about $1300 street. Have a listen. I feel I can trust these speakers to
deliver an accurate mix. Solid bass, even mids and smooth top-end. One
review I read said they had a smoother high-end than the Mackies,
probably due to the "Magnetically shielded 1" diameter ferrofluid-cooled
soft dome neodymium radiator".
