I recently purchased a custom system from a nearby store, now heres my question. I payed for an 80gig 8meg cache maxtor drive on the bill and now how can I check to see thats for sure what I have and not the 2 meg cache sister? model # is 6YO80LO according to my device manager, now that tells me diamondmax 9 but not the cache size? anyone help a newbie?

Unfortunately you have to return the drive. It's a 2MB cache version!
