I'm having a problem with my Sprint PCS Treo 600 where it will
repeatedly freeze when it tries to use the system, whether placing a
call, receiving a call or using the PCS Vision service. The phone
will freeze whatever action it's doing. If it's making a call I can
see it display Network Search... at the top of the screen. It will
then either drop the call or the Vision connection and unfreeze.
Whatever action it was trying to do will be stopped. It does this
even if it has full signal strength.

Has anyone else had this problem before? or even heard of it?

Did you install an extra piece of software just before this started happening?

Do a full sync to your PC or Mac (as a backup), and then a Hard RESET of
the Treo 600 to clear memory. If the freezing stops, then its something
you added that likely caused the problem.

If the freezing continues, then its a Treo issue, and hopefully you're
still under warranty.

FYI, the Treo hasn't been out a year yet, so it's still covered by
the warranty. Whether the warranty covers such an issue is something
for a store tech to decide.
