Authentication error android

I just installed a wireless dlink. Tried to connect my samsung galaxy tab2 - 10.1......keep getting authentication error & wont connect. Can you help?

You have made sure that you using the correct password ? You havn't set the wireless bands to a certian frequency only have you ?
If you have the Mac address of the cell phone then you can enter it manually into the list of accepted devices.
