Ok, working on a track at the moment where the drums are triggered via
Redrum, rewired into two mono tracks into Pro Tools LE 6.4 (Reason 2.5).
At some points in the song, one of the samples on redrum will just solo
itself, muting all of the other samples. This happens for up to as long as a
bar and I think it happens about 3 times.
I have no idea what is causing this. I tried opening a different reason
session that was made before this started happenning, same still happened.
I've checked all of the MIDI data and cant see anything in there which would
cause it to happen. I've also checked the audio channels its playing back
on, thats fine.
I then duplicated the entire song in PT and the same still happened. I dont
think the mute is actually happening to the MIDI data, as the MIDI bar keeps
flashing in pro tools on that channel, even when the glitch happens. Redrum
is also still triggering, the mutes just get in the way.
So... anyone have any ideas as to why redrum is solo-ing samples by itself?
Now, I have this remote similar thing with Cubase in an old vst 5.1 arranged
song where, when I import into SX3, the notes are in place, everything
lights up, but a lot of notes just don't sound, no matter how I transpose
copy cut past etc. When I replace the notes by hand they sound as they
should.
Weird experience with a common sequencer and a very simple song.
