Multiple redundant network folders

I fear I've made a complete mess of things in trying to get this Windows 7 to share media with my devices.

When I click on Start/Computer the left pane shows among other things Network and below that the name of my computer and that breaks out into a bunch of redundant folders. There is no opportunity to delete these folders.

I've included a screen grab. What is this all about?

More about multiple redundant network folders
  1. Double click Rocks911 (I assume that is the computer you are suing), select a folder and right click. Share with>advanced sharing>advanced sharing>untick share this folder>ok.
  2. Thanks for that, very helpful in getting my shares straightened out.
