this is just a general question bc im not 100% sure how things work. i have a amd xp 1800+ and it is listed as 133mhz fsb. i have a msi kt3 mobo, and in the bios i set it to 133mhz x 11.5 multiplier for 1533mhz.. and i have pc2700 memmory.. now since my fsb is 133mhz, and pc2700 says 166mhz, does this mean i am UNDERCLOCKING my memmory?? they run on the same fsb right... if this is so, is it possible to raise my fsb but lower the cpu multiplier so i get the same speed?? (even tho it would be 9.2, which isnt an option)... i am confused :(
i appreciate any help, thanks.

erm... it is 333mhz. your cpu is fine, but you need to adjust the mem settings. you don't need to mess with the cpu mult. this kind of sucks since your fsb is at 266mhz and you don't get to take full advantage of your memeorys bandwidth, but it still does make a diff going to the north bridge.

same thing goes for pc3700.. i mean its really ram that operates at 463mhz, but it doesn't make as much diff as it should since it doesn't have the fsb to go with it.
