Still hoping and waiting that Sprint puts coverage up to Lewiston, Maine
area which is about an hour from Portland. Verizon is killing me with
their lack of 'new' phones.

I spend some time in Maine each summer, and the sprint coverage has always
ended just north of Portland a bit. The state is so sparsely populated that
sprint would probably not make much return from their antenna investment,
but it would be nice if they at least did cover some of the larger towns and
tourist areas.

Your probably right. Verizon is slowly getting on my nerves with the
lack of new phones and this is the only hurdle that is preventing me
from swapping tp Sprint. We travel to TN to ME quite a bit due to the
in-laws living there.

My son left Verizon a few months ago as he wanted a Blue-Tooth phone for
his Toyota Prius, and his new Cingular Sony T616 works through the car's
audio system.

That sounds sweet. There is rumor that Verizon is going to release their
first Bluetooth phone on the 21st of May. Does Sprint have a bluetooth
enabled phone?

Yes, limited availability. Very good reception. Sony-Ericsson T608.
Vision plan runs $15/mo, and offers 3MB usage - a plan unique to this
handset. They can be found on eBay.
The phone's not perfect, and I suspect someone will come along and tell
you more on the downsides.
For a little less bias, read several reviews over at Sprintusers.com.
