Quad channel chipset from SIS

Nice, but you wouldn't really need all that speed for an "800" bus processor. A pair of RIMM3200 (if it existed) would be a perfect match, and a pair of RIMM4200 (which DOES exist) would allow for great overclocking.

No, because RIMM4200 is dual channel on a stick. But a pair of them would be perfect for a 4 channel chipset.

as i know asus allready loking for the boards as 64 stick will be avaible before the release of the chip you will be ale to

1 4 ram stick for 4 Channel
2 2 ram stick of 32 bit for Quad channel
3 1 ram stick of 64 bit for quad channel

As PC 1200 coming is coming just waiting for R658 to be official RDRAM may kill canterwood 300+ mothersboards big time still guy like Eden will buy slower DDR to meet the political right

Just next to the lab and the bunker you will find the marketing departement.

I'd buy RDRAM if prices in Canada were just a bit lower. (In other words, 3 times less expensive than now)

It would be nice if they could actually bring it to market. They have been talking about that for a while. However there haven't been any engineering samples available yet. Even David Stellmack of THG had something about this in his IDF 2003 articles. It would be cool to see if they bring it out. Think about it... an Intel processor and FSB as the bottleneck instead of the memory.
