A7N8X - 1 Gig or 512 of XMS?

Here are my system specs:

AthlonXP 2700+
Asus A7N8X
GeForce4 Ti4600
RAID 2x40 gig Seagate Barracuda IV

Questions

1. Will I see much of a performance boost with 2x512 XMS vs. 2x256? (PC-3200)

2. I often enjoy having large (in MB) wallpaper, running AIM, and other utilities full time, even while I am playing a game. Will this be an area where that extra memory insurance will kick in?

i suggest 2*512 but PC 2700 from samsung cheape fast reliable.Also i suggest you use cache man it will tell you how much have RAM you are using right now so you can make a better choice with information
