When i Connect My Sylvania Netbook to WiFi it says could not connect to server

when i connect my sylvania netbook to my wireless internet it says connected, excellent signal but when i try to pull up a web page it says can not connect to server... help please

You may have to turn on the wireless card with the Fn key on the keyboard.
You also may need to enter the wireless password into the laptop if you haven't already.
