playing dvd's

Hi to everyone who reads this. Just would like to know if my ancient system will play dvd's with no problems. Am contemplating buying a lite-on 16x dvd player for my system but don't know if it will play properly. I have a pentium 2-600mhz with 448 mb ram and running an old geforce 256 with 32 mb on the board. Is this enough to run using power dvd or win dvd? thanks alot to any replies.

Yes, your P2-600 should be fast enough to decode the Mpeg2 formated DVDs. As for the rest of your configs, they are all fine.
