I have an Audigy Platinum. It came with the 5 1/4" drive that enables you to move lots of connections to the front of your box. I love that feature. Now, I'd really like to upgrade to the Audigy 2 sound, but I really do NOT want to buy the Audigy 2 Platinum. Will the Audigy drive work with an Audigy 2 sound card? Are they essentially the same?

I am pretty sure that the answer is no, a audigy 2 must have a audigy 2 drive, they changed the conections

I the same question a while ago and nobody knew for sure either. Someone needs to try it or at least check out the connectors.
