Currently own a Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router and was looking to get a pcie x1 wifi n card. My budget is under $50. I do mild online gaming, youtube video, school work. Any suggestions? thanks
I would use a TP Link TL-WN722N USB wireless adapter. I've used dozens and they work very well, and install with just plugging in, and later can be used on another machine easily, very good signal reception.
I bought a pci-e x1 to mini pci-e adapter and got a killer 1103 wireless card in a desktop, works super great, better than any prebuilt one, it also has gaming optimisations for super low ping, and it also is much better than the intel competition, especially under the 5ghz band.

And you have the best wireless card ever, with upgradeable antenna.
Heres the review were it kicks intel's ass:

How does one use This w..With that?
What does the Bigfoot do, why do you need 2 separate wireless adapters. Just.. What the fuck. Clarify, please.
The card is in Mini PCIe form, because it is mainly intended for laptops. The adapter lets you use it on your desktop. I think I'm going to get the adapter for my new desktop, and use it with my N-6300 centrino card from my laptop. Wish I had a killer 1103
