A few days ago, I got my new computer from PC Specialist.co.uk and after finally getting the thing on I found out that the TP-LINK wifi PCI card's (TL-WN881ND V1) driver doesn't work yet on Windows 8 64bit!
However I I found out that I was getting wifi signals, after many failed attempts to connect, I managed too, for about 10 minuets (it was awfully slow and the card is meant to be 300mps.
I was hoping that when the driver is available on TP-Link's website that it will work.

Any help?
Many thanks,
Sam

Sorry for bringing back a one year old thread, but I'm considreing buying this adapter, and I was wondering what kind of speeds you're getting.

Thanks

Hi, I have really bad internet in my area/ provider but the download speeds are the same as any other device or adapter I try.
The signal range is a bit iffy- I have my computer about 15/ 20m away from my router, through a largish brick wall and I get 3 bar signal on a good day. When I had my computer downstairs, 3 or 4 m away from router through wooden floor I was getting 5 bad and great speeds (for my standereds)
I get around 300/500kb/s usually, I will go up to around 1mb/s at night but that is just my router and provider lol
