I've setup a MN-700 Wireless Base Station with two other
computers using the wireless connections (3 total). The
main computer accesses my offices network through a VPN.
When I connect to my office through the VPN using the
network connection to, it accesses rather quickly. At
that point I'm able to access files shared on my office's
network. However, when I attempt to access my email
through Outlook, it runs for a minute or two and then
gives a message that the Exchange Server is unavailable.
I have the option to Retry, Work Offline, or Get Help. If
I click Retry, it takes another 5-10 minutes and then
finally opens my email from the exchange server. While it
may seem like there isn't a problem here, there is. The
rather long wait is a bit of a nuisance. And, its not
guaranteed to work everytime. Now, if I unplug the MN-700
Router, and connect my cable modem directly to the PC, the
email comes up in less than 5 seconds. Obviously, there
is a bottleneck within the router. Any suggestions for
how I could fix this bottleneck and keep my existing
wireless network?
I've looked at several settings in the Base Station Logon,
but to no avail. Any thoughts?
