I have 2 512 MB PC3200 (DDR400, CA/CAS 2.0) memory chips. When a motherboard says it takes Duel Channel DDR is that different than the memory I am using? Or does this just mean I have to buy memory in pairs?

It means it accepts standard memory in pairs.

Hi. I'm almost certain everybody's take on actual "dual channel" has been wrong, but damn, if I can't find that article I once saw on true dual channel architecture. I'm still looking.
