So here is the whole deal i just bought a Dell PowerEdge T110 server for my home. ( im building a computer lab for my kids and kids friends) (5 computers plus mine) so i want to use active directory ect but here is my problem i have verizon fios they supllied the router, now i want to know if i can connect a wired router to the wireless router to connect to my server and 5 computers. so is it possible to connect a wired router to a wireless router and have a different ssid for this computer lab. thaks for everyone who answers

You lost me a bit there. You asked if you can have a different SSID, but I only count one SSID in this picture (wired router + wireless router).

You can always daisy-chain routers, WAN to LAN, to your heart’s content. Just make sure each is using DIFFERENT networks (so if the FIOS is 192.168.1.x, perhaps make the other one 192.168.2.x, or 10.0.0.x, whatever).

If it’s something more complex you’re considering here, you’ll need to be more precise.
