Help! Cannot connect to the internet with my newly built pc

I recently built a new computer, Installed Windows and found i cannot connect to the internet. I dont know if im suppose to change some thing in the bios or what? Can some one please help me!

Does your Ethernet adapter show up in the device manager? The onboard adapter should be enabled by default, but did you install the LAN driver?

You need to load the chipset drivers off the CD that came with the motherboard. Windows has many drivers on the disk, but not all of them. Install the drivers and you should then be able to get on the internet to download the latest drivers for everything else.
