I have a silly question. Does anyone know how I can see what my system IP Address is (in Windows 4.0 workstation), when I have the system set to obtain an automatic IP Address? (I realize I'm in the Win XP section but I'm not getting too many responses from that area. Everybody seems to be over here)

I'm pretty sure its got a simple answer but its driving me crazy and I can't figure it out. I can find it in Win 98 with no problem using ipconfig.exe but I can't find anything sismilar in 4.0.

Please help

Thanks

I assume you mean NT , ipconfig should work in it too. Do a cmd from the run prompt then do ipconfig. Pretty sure that will work with NT.

Winipcfg is also a easier way to get it in 9x.

I replied to this yesterday in your identical post in the NT4 forum

If they squeeze olives to get olive oil, how do they get baby oil?
