User problem

Hey guys

Im currently suffering a problem with my current school handout lenovo laptops. Well the tech guy at school updated the my computer and now it seems to be all wiped out wit all my data gone. Im currently using a 32 bit windows 7 and all it has on it is the pre installed desktop icons and nothing pinned to my task bar with all the missing documents in my downloads section and document section. But i did manage to find all my documents in C:/ drrive under the names user and my name. But it does not show any of my stuff in my actually downloads folder.
These school laptops use a log in domain which is detnsw. i use it to log into my laptop everytime i turn it on but now when i turn it on its dosnt have my stuff.

I think the reasons are different user, even though i type my name and password to access my user. restoring to last restore point would not help as well because i didnt make on and it happens with the same thing even though you go into safemode. I do not want to hand my laptop to the tech guys mainly because i do now want them to see some of the stuff on the laptop..... but yeah and also the updates wernt done manually there kind of when ever to access the school internet they update it through wifi automatically.
so any ideas would be very helpful thankyou.
