Recommend A PCI Wireless Adapter Card

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could could recommend me a Wirelss PCI adapter card thats a reasonable price (£30 or below). It would be linked up to a D-Link router or VirginMedia superhub.

Alos, I've heard that a card would be more reliable and faster than a USB dongle, is this correct?

It's doubtful it would be faster because it would be sited round the back of the box and has to fight the metal case to get to the signal, whereas the dongle could take a front of case USB port.

So would you recommend a dongle over a PCI card?

Yes but only for that one reason. If the PC stands in a position where the wireless card's aerials can have a fighting chance, the PCI card option is the better one. A workaround is a separate aerial which can replace one of the aerials n the card and stand somewhere higher. Go for a card with Wireless N capability.
