What is the problem of window 7 if in time of booting its take a lot of time to

Hello,
my name is jeffrey conner i have a problem in my laptop, all the programs are working perfectly fine its and every thing but one thing when i reboot my system the log in part which ask for password it come very fast but after putting password the black screen came out and it will take a 3 or 4 min to come in the normal screen. If anyone knows about these problem please help me out.

probably some programs and services starting after you log in. I would disable any unused services, and stop unwanted programs from launching at startup. also a defragmentation of the hard disk wouldn't hurt.

yeah its probably lots of programs that start automatically when you turn on your computer.

try unistalling Antivirus software - temporarily of course - and see if the delay goes

Look in MSCONFIG and untick programs you dont need starting...

You can also use the event viewer to make a custom view. I did this and it works great.
