Just got a new Samsung i500 phone. Overall, I like the phone. Have yet to
form an opinion about Sprint in general.
Questions:
Does anyone know how to insert a pause in a number? With my Motorola StarTac
I could insert a pause. When the first part of the number answered, I could
push a button and the remainder of the number (extension, pin, etc.) would
dial. Can I do that with the Samsung?
Am I correct in my understanding that the USB cable has sufficient power to
charge the batteries without having to plug in the travel charger?
On the sprint website, this phone is described as being a speaker phone.
True? If so, how do I use it in that manner?
How do I download ringtones to it? Can I even do that? Never having owned a
phone that allowed changing ringtones, I have little knowledge of the
process. Can I record something on my computer, save in the correct
format/density, and upload to my phone?

Very valuable reference - thanks!
Also found www.sprintusers.com. A little more diverse in content, but does
have some useful info.
