Holy Smokes, you shocked the crap out of me! The last time I've heard about a problem concerning anything besides a Creative card was in the mid 1990's I think! LOL, j/k!

I was just looking at all of the posts. Most of them are titled "Audigy 2 Problem" or the like. I just thought I'd wake some people up with this thread. He he he. Sorry for making you soil your knickers.

The list of problems I have had with my GTXP is really short.

The 4.10 drivers worked fine but the Control Panel for it was buggy.

Then there was the 5.10 microphone issue.

I consider it to be one of the least problematic sound cards I have owned. I look forward to the day Hercules makes a GTXP 2 or something. Better performance, thinner cable.

That cable is huge. I agree that the Control Panel was a bit buggy but Hercules fixed that up nice. I don't ever use a microphone so I haven't had a problem with that. One thing that continues to bother me is when you do the sound rotation test sometimes the subwoofer and center channel don't work. It works with all other applications that utilize 5.1, but when you do the sound rotation test occasionally the center and sub don't work.
