Hello,

since a few days my soundforge starts up with the error:
"...SfPlugin_Grovel@16-1 Sonic_Foundry_Grovel_Event...". Seems as if
Sundforge returns that error at plugin-scanning. Since the same time
my Cubase crashes at startup, also at plugin-scanning). Maybe a defect
directx or shared plugin? Is there a way to log the startup of Cubase
and Sonudforge to identify the plugin making trouble? or what could it
be?

thanks in advance!

Has any of your plug-ins a name, or as a part of its name "Grovel"? --
in that case, that one makes trouble at scanning. Rename the extension
of that failed plug-in to something else, for example *.a_ instead of
*.ax or *.dl_ . There is a really neat free tool for plug-in
management:

You can check your plug-ins and unregister (remove) a failing one if
needed.
