I currently have the 2000 AT plan for $100.00 with my phone, and a secondary
phone (free). I have the RL/Vision thing on my primary phone (the free combo
or whatever) - and I guess it's 5.00 for the vision on the secondary
phone...

Well today we had the 2nd phone replaced (under warranty) with a Sanyo
8200.. I want to put RL on that phone, but I'm wondering what it's going to
do to my overall plan..

Will it change anything on the primary phone.. will it add more cost to the
overall plan -- I recall seeing that RL is/was free on the secondary phone
for 2 months -- is this still true?

I don't really want to add more cost to the plan as it stands, and I don't
want to loose my add-a-phone being free, nor mess up my current setup in
regards to anything else.

Lastly, I assume that we have the 100 SMS messages for free per month.. does
this now apply to both phones, or is it 100 total for the both phones? I'm
hesitant to call CS and ask them, as most of the time I get 12 different
answers, so I figured I'd seek advice here first.

Thanks

$10/month for Ready Link on 2nd phone.

PCS?

It wasn't a matter of what I could or couldn't do - I honestly just wanted
to try it out and see how it worked out, since I've yet to use it once --
figured if it was a small enough fee to add (or free for 2 months) it'd be
nice to at least try once or twice :)

Well, if Ready Link is anything like Nextel's Direct Connect, one could
annoy surrounding people with repeated loud chirps or beeps when using
the walkie-talkie. I always find that to be bothersome, and that would
be something simple PCS to PCS couldn't do.

It took me 3 weeks to find a CSR to know enough to turn on ReadyLink.
They forget to tell me it takes at least 4 hours to be "provisioned",
but thats OK, the clock starts for billing you for ReadyLink when its
"added" to your account, not hours or days later when it's first
working, that might be honest and customer friendly. Why wait to bill
for the service until you have it, start billing right away. Thats the
Convergys way. It took over 12 hours (next day) before ReadyLink would
work on my phones. It took about 1 hour to figure out what a complete
waste of time and money ReadyLink is. Luckily it only took 1 day to get
it off my account.

Adding readylink to the secondary line will in no way change your plan
for your primary line. As for the SMS Text Messages, there are 100
included text messages for each line.

Actually, there's a two month trial period for readylink, Phillipe. So,
you technically aren't billed at all...
